Ford Fusion Hybrid
The 2010 Ford Fusion is introducing an all-new hybrid model to its line-up. Together with the Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner Hybrids, the Ford Fusion Hybrid and Mercury Milan Hybrid double both the size and volume of available hybrid cars.
Ford's Global Product Development chief Derrick Kuzak had this to say about their new offerings: "We want to offer consumers more fuel-efficient vehicle choices, and improving and increasing our hybrid vehicle selection is part of that plan. The Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan hybrids have an impressive range of travel on electric power at an improved speed, thanks to a much more efficient process of transitioning between gas and electric. These vehicles will deliver satisfaction on all fronts: fuel efficiency, comfort, convenience, and drivability."
The Ford Hybrid team has worked hard to engineer a powertrain system that perfectly combines gasoline engine and electric battery-driven capabilities for the optimum driving experience and fuel economy.
