Ford Mondeo Titanium TDCi 2004 posters

Ford Mondeo Titanium TDCi

Released in October 2000, the Mondeo Mk III was larger than the one before it, but still ran on the same frame and components. Its design was more restrained and mature than the Focus, taking some expression from the Focus Mk I, and improved in areas such as rear legroom and diesel performance with the integration of the new Duratorq diesel engine. Ford devoted lots of attention to the interior, replacing the rounded design of the Mk I with a Germanic approach that was much higher quality. Safety was a crucial feature of this iteration, as Ford incorporated its Intelligent Protection System (IPS), using an array of sensors to determine the appropriate airbags to deploy in a crash. Additionally, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake distribution, and even optional electronic stability program (ESP) were included for more active safety.
