Ford Mustang Cobra Jet
Since its triumphant debut at the NHRA Winternationals in
1968, the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet has forged a legacy of raw power, speed, and success. As the 40th Anniversary
2008 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet had its own share of victories, including a successful run at the same NHRA Winternationals, it proceeded to take over drag strips all over the country.
At this year's SEMA show, Ford Racing took the opportunity to release its 2010 edition of the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, commemorated with a "SEMA Special" one-of-a-kind silver Mustang, draped in the charcoal Cobra Jet graphic package.
Brian Wolfe, director of Ford North American Motorsports, expressed his pride over the car: "The 2008 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet was great, it did exactly what we wanted it to do, and now, with the 2010 model, we had an extended development cycle and the vehicle is simply breathtaking. The 2008 Cobra Jet proved to be a great starting point, so the 2010 will only take it up a notch."
Excited to witness the new Ford Mustang Cobra Jet in action, Wolfe concluded, "We can't wait to see the new Ford Mustang Cobra Jet on the drag strip!"
