Ford Mustang DUB Edition
Ford Motor Company is combining forces with automotive lifestyle publication DUB, to launch a custom-built variant of the 2011 Mustang, targeting the new generation of fans of this legendary sports car.
The Ford Mustang DUB Edition is based on the award-winning 3.7-liter V6 Mustang, and will be hitting the market in the fall of this year. The collaboration between Ford, DUB and Roush Industries has created a flexible offering for the Ford Mustang DUB Edition, available in coupe, convertible or Glass Roof body styles, and with the option for either a manual or automatic six-speed transmission.
"The Ford Mustang is the most popular customisation option in the world, and with this project, we managed to take it even further," stated Mustang brand manager Fritz Wilke. "We are proud of our alliance with DUB and Roush, and the modifications they undertook for the 2011 Ford Mustang DUB Edition, enabling it to attract an extended audience."
The Ford Mustang DUB Edition benefits from the new 305-horsepower DOHC 3.7-liter V6, and comes complete with 20-inch TIS wheels paired with Pirelli performance tires, a Roush front fascia, splitter, quarter window louvers and windshield banner, Roush lowering springs, a DUB logo embroidered in the front headrests and a DUB stripe package, a black interior, along with four available exterior colours: Black, Grabber Blue, Race Red and Ingot Silver.
