Ford Mustang Giugiaro Concept 2006 posters

Ford Mustang Giugiaro Concept

When the all-new 2005 Ford Mustang graced the world, its proportions and design quickly became a part of automotive history. Noticing the potential of the edition, Fabrizio Giugiaro of Italdesign - Giugiaro S.P.A. approached J Mays, Ford Motor Company's group vice president, Design and chief creative officer, with an offer to enhance the Mustang model to a new level. The result was the Mustang by Giugiaro concept, shown at the inaugural November Los Angeles Auto Show. This one-of-a-kind concept embodied Ford's iconic car, powered by Ford Racing technologies, and showing the global appeal of the Mustang. It also marked the first reveal of Giugiaro's work on the Mustang, following from Giorgetto Giugairo's 1965 Bertone Mustang - the first European-styled car to make its international debut in America post World War II. This concept showcased the timeless allure of Ford's most beloved car.
