Celebrating twenty years since the launch of the original 1993 SVT Mustang Cobra and SVT F-150 Lightning, Ford has released the blisteringly fast 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Convertible. This open-air Mustang offers a commemorative lighted sill plate to mark the occasion, while packing a mighty 662 horse-power 5.8 litre supercharged V8 engine - a definite upgrade from the original 1993 SVT Mustang's 235 horsepower 5.0 litre V8.
