The classic American TV show ran from 1982 to 1986, featuring David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight, a modern-day "knight". His partner was a Pontiac Trans Am with artificial intelligence.
The new version of the show features Justin Bruening as Knight's long-lost son, Michael Tracer. His partner is the KR, which Houses an engine output estimated at 540 horsepower. Beyond product integration, the show will feature advertisements and promotions for Ford products throughout the show.
If the show is popular, NBC plans to turn it into a weekly series this fall.
