Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) has launched a new generation of their high-performance F6 and V8 work horses - the FPV Falcon F6 Ute, Pursuit and FPV Super Pursuit. This impressive line-up boasts amazing power outputs, maximum ride comfort and awesome pulling power.
"The utility has always been an icon in Australian culture, but now we've cranked up the power and enhanced driver comfort to give drivers the ultimate work horse," said FPV General Manager Rod Barrett.
The FPV Falcon F6 Ute is powered by the 4.0 litre turbo charged DOHC 24 valve in-line six engine, producing a maximum 310kW of power at 5500 rpm and a maximum 565Nm of torque at 1950-5200 rpm.
The Pursuit and FPV Super Pursuit get the high-performance Boss 5.4 litre quad-cam 32 valve V8, which produces a maximum 315kW at 6500 rpm and a maximum 551Nm of torque at 4750 rpm.
Owners now also have the option of the performance TR6060 six-speed manual transmission, or ZF six-speed high-torque automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift, free of cost.
These latest generation sports utilities also feature a stylish rear wheel arch bulge and unique door scallops which further enhance the work site hierarchy and weekend drive look. FPV badges can be found on the front grille, tailgate, and centre stage on the soft tonneau.
