To commemorate four decades of the Falcon GT nameplate, Ford Performance Vehicles has unveiled a special limited edition model at the Melbourne International Motor Show. Only 200 FPV GT 40th Anniversary models will be produced, all of which come with a unique build number badge, certificate of authenticity, and Silhouette black exterior featuring a gold over-body stripe kit, gold lower body stripes, and a '40th Anniversary' decal. The interior of the model is just as distinct, with FPV sports seats finished in a combination of leather and suede complete with silver thread highlights and an embroidered 'GT' logo. FPV floor mats with '40th Anniversary' inlay perfectly match the exterior. Furthermore, it also features an iPod®/MP3 audio player connection and a new suspension package designed to boost the handling of its latest model.
