GMC Yukon XL
GMC has introduced the all-new 2007 Yukon XL and Yukon XL Denali full-size SUVs. The show-stopper of the line is the Yukon XL Denali, with a 6.2L V-8 delivering the most horsepower in its class, along with variable valve timing and a fuel-efficient six-speed automatic transmission. The Yukon XL and Denali are more powerful and efficient than their predecessors, living up to GMC's "more than expected" ethos. Based upon GM's all-new full-size SUV family, the vehicles boast bold styling, comfortable interiors, and advanced safety features to complete GMC's extensive SUV lineup.

The Yukon XL and Yukon XL Denali are similar in length to their regular models, but add 14 inches (355.6 mm) in wheelbase and 20 inches (508 mm) in overall length. Drivers have the option of SLE (cloth trim) and SLT (leather appointments) trims, as well as two-wheel and four-wheel drives. A third-row seat is standard, and the 5.3L V-8 with Active Fuel Management™ displacement on demand, fuel-saving technology is also offered. Arriving later in the model year is a 6.0L all-aluminum V-8 with Active Fuel Management and variable valve timing (VVT) and a 6.0L V-8 with VVT for the heavy-duty models. The Yukon XL and Yukon XL Denali become available in the second quarter of 2006.
