Holden Captiva SX

Holden has launched its cutting-edge Captiva sports utility vehicle (SUV) range, exuding a bold presence and offering affordability for maximum impact in the local SUV market. Spanning from $35,990 to $42,990, the Captiva is the brand's first modern interpretation of an SUV in Australia. This model is closest in exterior dimensions to the BMW X5 and is available with either five or seven seats. Under the hood of the extensively tested vehicle is a locally-made 3.2 litre Alloytec high performance V6 engine. Every model further features an active all-wheel-drive system, a five-speed automatic transmission with Active Select, Descent Control System, and Active Rollover Protection as standard, as well as the acclaimed Electronic Stability Program (ESP®) for crash avoidance. Curtain airbags are also fitted across the range, with some models offering it as standard. The Captiva selection includes highly specified SX, CX, LX models and the Euro-styled Captiva MaXX. Moreover, buyers can benefit from the Holden-tuned chassis dynamics for both on and off-road driving, seeking those in the medium and compact-sized SUV market segments. GM Holden Chairman and Managing Director, Denny Mooney, is proud to have the Captiva join the Holden range. The models offer 11.5 or 11.6 litres per 100 kilometres per the ADR 81/01 standard, making the Captiva an attractive proposition for SUV buyers.
