GM Holden has launched its top-of-the-range WM Statesman and Caprice models, offering more differences from their short wheelbase counterparts than ever before. After being revealed with the VE Commodore in July, these all-new Holden flagships will be available for purchase in Australia starting September, with plans to export abroad in the near future.
This level of luxury and build quality of these long-wheelbase sedans was the result of an $190 million investment on top of the $1.03 billion VE program. Not only do these models offer comfort and spacious interiors, but Holden has kept the WM Caprice priced at just $69,990, a $5400 or 7.1% drop from the prior WL version with a V6 engine. The WM Statesman can be purchased at $58,990 and $62,990 for V6 and V8 models, respectively.

With more differences compared to the short wheelbase cars, these vehicles have their own individual identity, comfort and handling capabilities that domestic and international customers will be proud to have.”
