Honda Accord Coupe EX-L 2007 posters

Honda Accord Coupe EX-L

In 2006, to celebrate its 30th anniversary, Honda gave the North American Accord a mid-generational refresh. It featured a redefined exterior, with a new front grille from the 8th-generation Honda Civic, triangular LED taillights, and new wheel designs. Some models had heated side mirrors, DRLs, and VSA, traction control, and Brake assist for the V6. The interior design was mostly new, with a new steering wheel cover and differently styled shift knob. The GPS Navigation system was also improved with enhanced features. The engine power for both the V6 and 4-cylinder increased to 244 and 166 bhp, respectively. Brazilian Accords just got a 2.0L 4-cylinder i-VTEC K20A engine. The V6 sedan also had the option for a 6-speed manual transmission. The 2006 Accord Hybrid had the same power as the 2005, though with 253 bhp and a larger battery pack. It had a few features that set it apart from other Accords, like different rear light clusters, antenna, wheels, and mirror turn signals. The trim levels changed, with the addition of the VP trim which included standard features such as ABS, A/C, P/W, door handles, and mirrors. For the 2007 model, the SE-V6 trim was introduced and the color "Cool Blue Metallic" became available for the sedan. Although it was in its last year of the generation, the 2007 Accord was still well-received.
