Honda Accord Tourer Concept 2007 posters

Honda Accord Tourer Concept

At the 2007 Frankfurt motor show, Honda premiered the Accord Tourer Concept, showcasing their new generation of Honda diesel engines, i-DTEC. The Concept's wider, lower look signals a sportier style while retaining fiscal practicality, with increased width for a more spacious cabin and improved track for enhanced handling. The Accord Tourer will boast one of the first all-Euro 5-compliant engine line-ups, featuring two i-VTEC petrol engines and a newly developed 2.2-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. Most notably, power output will be boosted and emissions and fuel economy significantly improved. The car will also be equipped with innovative chassis technology, improving linear stability and driving experience simultaneously. The all-new Accord will make its debut in Sedan and Tourer forms at the 2008 Geneva motor show. Additionally, the i-DTEC diesel engine has already been tested and achieved compliance with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tier II/Bin 5 emissions requirements, exceeding the Euro 6 requirements, which remain at the proposal stage.
