Mugen of Japan has designed an exclusive Honda CR-Z Mugen RR Concept to showcase their capabilities in terms of look, performance, and agility. While just a show car, the design concept has several extreme features like a full-length carbon-fibre underbody, a twin central-exit exhaust, and vented front bumpers. The body is painted in a vibrant Valencia Orange Pearl. The bonnet, passenger doors, and rear tailgate have all been made with carbon fibre. As for the wheels, they're orange 4-piston monobloc brake calipers and forged 18-inch alloy ones.
Upon entering the car, you'll see the seats embellished with Mugen-branded colour-coded leather/Alcantara. It also contains a race-developed information screen which is capable of recording engine and chassis data and houses a satellite navigation and audio system. Moreover, it can record lap data and use GPS to track the car over two laps.
The Honda CR-Z Mugen RR debuted in July 2011 at the Moving Motor Show area at Goodwood Festival of Speed. It stands among the high-performance Honda CR-Z Mugen, engineered and built by Mugen Euro located in the UK.
