Honda Civic Si Sport Concept

The 8th-generation Civic comes with a "two-tier" instrument panel. At the top, drivers can monitor their digital speedometer, coolant temperature and fuel levels, while the lower tier displays a tachometer. Hybrid trims have added IMA Assist and Charge indicators. Headlight brightness can be adjusted and saved independently. The North American Civic Si is built for sporty performance and comes with a more powerful 2.0-litre DOHC four-cylinder engine with i-VTEC variable valve timing system, producing 197 hp (197 PS/147 kW). You also get a 350 Watt, 7-speaker sound system, limited-slip differential, close ratio 6-speed gearbox, sport seats, upgraded brakes, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, aluminum racing pedals, unique interior touches, a rear wing, and red backlit gauges. Civic Si models come with standard VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) from 2007 and TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) from 2008. For 2008, Honda released the Civic Mugen Si sedan, a special variant of the standard Si model. Although Mugen Motorsports has a performance-oriented reputation, the Mugen Si has no engine modifications relative to the standard Si. Only 1000 Mugen Si cars were created for the North-American market.
