An all-new urban-centered variant of the Honda Element is set to debut this fall, complete with a sport suspension, stylish accents, and unique features such as a carpeted interior and a center console. American Honda Motor Co. Inc. announced it today at the 2006 New York International Auto Show.
Not only is the Element SC prototype aesthetically striking, but its performance lives up to its expectations as well, handling with a sports car-like dynamic, 3 inches lower than the original Element. It also features a front-to-back aerodynamic kit, fully painted exterior panels and trim, projector-beam headlights with a black grille, copper hue instrument panel lighting, piano black trim, and a carpeted floor for added refinement.
"The Element SC prototype encompasses a level of sophistication that the original doesn't offer- ideal for urban lifestyles," said Dick Colliver, executive vice president of American Honda. "We've designed this vehicle to be a 'night performer', with a sleek, yet bold exterior that expresses its contemporary attitude."
