Honda Odyssey S Type [JP]
The Honda Odyssey S Type third generation model made its debut in late 2003, introducing a 4-door body style with a much sleeker, lower, and more car-like look. It is distributed in Japan, Australia as well as in many other countries. It is powered by the reliable Honda K24 engine, a 2.4 liter unit which produces up to 158 hp (118 kW). This engine is also known from the CR-V and Accord models. Surprisingly, the V6 engine was omitted from this model. Despite the changes, the new Odyssey has proved to be a success in the market, particularly in Australia, where it had its best-ever sales year in 2005 and outsold the Toyota Tarago.
