Honda Ridgeline RTS

The Honda Ridgeline is a pickup truck, equipped with a unibody chassis shared with the Acura MDX and Honda Odyssey. It is powered by a J35A91 3.5L V6 engine connected to a 5-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. The Ridgeline is built in Ontario, Canada, alongside the Honda Pilot and MDX. It is distinctive for its unibody frame, which is unusual among pickups, as well as its "car-like" features like the large "trunk" located below the truck bed. The bed is incorporated with the body, similar to the Chevrolet Avalanche. It comes with anti-lock brakes, stability assist, side airbags and side-curtain airbags as standard. In many ways it resembles the Chevrolet El Camino, Ford Ranchero, and Subaru Baja. The Ridgeline has a roomy backseat that can be easily folded. It comes in four trims: RT, RTX, RTS, and RTL (with optional moonroof or moonroof and DVD navigation). The 2006 Ridgeline was released in March 2005. The truck has a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs and a cargo capacity of 1,100 lbs. Its combination of a unibody and ladder frame chassis offer 2.5 times more bending rigidity and 20 times more torsional rigidity compared to other pickup trucks in its class. The Ridgeline has been competing in off-road events, winning the Henderson 400 in the mini-stock class, the only stock truck among 46 finishers. Honda's most capable off road vehicle, the Ridgeline is equipped with an engine, body, chassis, transmission and 4WD system effective in tough off-road conditions.
