Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition
Honda has announced that a limited edition Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition will hit the European market in March 2009. Marking the end of production for this highly acclaimed sports car, the Ultimate Edition comes with a Grand Prix White paint job, graphite coloured alloy wheels, unique black S2000 badging, a red leather interior and stitching on the gear lever gaiter. These cars will all be numbered and marked out by individual plaques seen on the kickplates.
Equipped with a powerful 2.0 litre 9000 rpm VTEC engine, the Honda S2000's power output has earned it the International Engine of the Year category for 1.8 to 2.2 litre engines, with five wins since its introduction in 1999. This, accompanied by the incredible attention to detail, ensured this 2-seater sports car's legacy for many, many years to come.
With 110,673 units sold worldwide and 19,987 in Europe alone, this Ultimate Edition will be the last version before global production of the model ceases altogether at the end of June 2009.
