HSV GTSR W1

Australia's renowned performance car maker HSV has brought back the well-regarded GTSR nameplate for the last production of the local "Zeta" platform. The VS model of 1996 was the first to feature the GTSR nameplate, and HSV will provide three GTSR variants in the MY17 range. All three vehicles - GTSR (sedan), GTSR Maloo and GTSR W1 - carry a similar styling as well as performance comparable to those of a race track. To showcase its race heritage, HSV incorporated a lower and wider look reinforced by matte black accents and aggressive graphics on the fascia to mazimise air intake and harness a sporty look. They added a front splitter running around the lower edges to add to the low-slung appearance, and top it off with new Daytime Running Lamps. The fenders are 12mm wider than the rest of the HSV range, with horizontal fender vents in carbon-fibre on the GTSR W1. To supplement the look, all models come with 20" x 9" (front) and 20" x 10" (rear) SV Panorama forged alloy wheels in different finishes to match the design. These five-spoke wheels have waisted spoke sides for weight reduction.
