Hyundai Veracruz 2007 posters

Hyundai Veracruz

At the 2007 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), Hyundai unveiled the Veracruz, a new luxury midsize crossover that is transforming perceptions of premium crossovers. It offers state-of-the-art Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and lavish amenities, while boasting more cargo volume than the full-size Mercedes-Benz GL. It also outperforms the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander in terms of powertrain performance and safety features. “Veracruz is an exceptional vehicle at the right time for this developing segment,” said Steve Wilhite, chief operating officer of Hyundai Motor America. “The vehicle's designers recognized that the needs and desires of traditional SUV buyers weren't being met and focused on meeting those needs in an elegant and ingenious way. With the capacity to seat seven adults, its refined style and top-notch performance make it unbeatable in its class.” BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL Impressively designed, the Veracruz features fluid and organic forms and sophisticated styling that ensures its place amongst the most luxurious crossovers on the market. “The integrated headlights and taillights envelope Veracruz to create a unified aesthetic,” noted Joel Piaskowski, chief designer at the Hyundai Design Center in Irvine, Calif. “This design reinforces our evolution in product expansion and global design, and contributes to our brand image.”
