Hyundai i-flow Concept 2010 posters

Hyundai i-flow Concept

The Hyundai i-flow Concept, which made its global debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, presents a new form language, 'Fluidic Sculpture', that is expressed through its flowing, elegant lines. This bionic, futuristic design offers excellent aerodynamics, resulting in a remarkable 85g/km CO2 output and a fuel consumption rate of only 3l/100km. Additionally, Hyundai's first diesel hybrid powertrain played a considerable role in achieving this level of environmental performance. Hyundai has also used advanced materials and technologies provided by BASF, a leading chemical company for this concept car. Previewing a future D-segment contender, the i-flow Concept has an overall length of 4.780mm and a 2.800mm wheelbase. It carries a muscular look with 1.850mm width and 1.420mm height. The word 'i-flow' is chosen to reflect the exceptional aerodynamic shape and brilliant flowing lines of the concept car, and it is also in line with Hyundai's established alphanumeric nomenclature for Europe. Hyundai fans can look forward to a new challenger in the segment in the coming year, which is likely to be inspired by the sleek styling and innovative technology of the i-flow Concept. Thomas Buerkle, Chief Designer at Hyundai Motor Europe, praises the design concept of i-flow, HED-7, the seventh in a series of advanced concept cars from the Russelsheim styling studio.
