Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe

The popular Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe was introduced to North American markets in 2003, and is the 11th generation Nissan Skyline elsewhere in the world. It features a 6-speed manual transmission with the sedan as a 2003.5 model, along with a scarless 3.5-liter V6 engine offering up to 270 horsepower and 270 ft·lbf of torque for both coupe and sedan. The G35 is based on the Nissan FM platform that includes the Nissan 350Z sports car and Infiniti FX sport utility vehicle, and is assembled at Tochigi, Japan. The G35 was awarded Motor Trend's Car of the Year for 2003, and has been widely acknowledged by critics and drivers alike for its great performance given the relatively cheaper price compared to other luxury cars. It is recognised for its VQ35DE engine, its front-midship engine and rear-wheel drive layout (an all-wheel drive option is available for sedan models) which makes the G35 one of the more evenly balanced weight distributions with the 52/48 front/rear ratio. For the 2005 and 2006 model years, there were some minor updates. These included three new exterior colours for the 2005 coupe model, genuine aluminum internal trim, as well as interior trim, knobs, gauges, and Bluetooth capability for the '06 models. An all-wheel drive model has been introduced designated the G35x, which uses an intelligent Aisin-Warner AWD system. The G35's competitors are Acura TL, Audi A4, BMW 3-Series, Cadillac CTS, Lexus IS, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Volvo S60.
