Infiniti M35x
The Infiniti M35x is a mid-size sport luxury model released in 2005 by Infiniti. It uses a more rigid version of the G35/350Z/FX Nissan FM platform and is powered by the common VQ-series 280 hp (208 kW) 3.5 L V6 engine. The M35x is the all-wheel-drive version featuring an ATTESA-ETS system that sends all power to the rear wheels until slip is detected.
In comparison to its competitors such as the BMW 5-Series and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the M35x is faster in its class, achieving 0-60 in 6.3 seconds, and near or at the top of every interior dimension. Prices in the US range from approximately 40,000-55,000.
Infiniti also released the M45 in 2006, which uses the Nissan's 340 hp VK45DE V8 producing 333 ft.lbf of torque and bears styling from the Nissan Gloria. The M45 is fastest in its class, achieving 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. Despite entering a crowded and competitive segment, the M45 still managed to find many key distinctions.
