Following the successful launch of the all-new G sedan and a record setting sales trend, Infiniti is unveiling the 2008 Infiniti QX full-size luxury sport utility vehicle at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The new QX offers a refined exterior and an updated interior that boasts a number of luxury features and technological advancements.
Inside, the QX has a new instrument panel cluster design with Fine Vision electroluminescent instrumentation and a new genuine wood grain interior trim. Other comfort features include a 3rd-row power folding seat, a heated steering wheel (standard for the 4WD model), and stone interior. A Premium Audio System with Bose® Speakers,Burr-Brown Digital Audio Converter and 9.5-gigabyte Music Box hard drive and compact flash slot for playing MP3 files, Infiniti Navigation system and Intelligent Key provide enhanced entertainment abilities. An Infiniti Mobile Entertainment System with a larger 8.0-inch screen and XM® NavTraffic™ system with real-time traffic information is also available.
On the outside, the QX has a new front and rear fascias, new front fog lamps, new roof rack, standard 20-inch chromed aluminum-alloy wheels, and two new exterior colors - Lakeshore Slate and Serengeti Sand.
Under the hood, the QX maintains its formidable 320-horsepower DOHC 5.6-liter V8 engine enabling it to deliver up to 9,000-pound towing capacity (when properly equipped).
"The 2008 QX demonstrates Infiniti's philosophy of constantly evolving in the competitive luxury segment," said Mark Igo, vice president and general manager of Infiniti. "We've given the new QX significant upgrades in the areas of interior design, performance, luxury features, and technology." The all-new 2008 QX will be available for purchase at Infiniti retailers across the nation in April 2007.
