Italdesign Tex Concept
The Italdesign Tex Concept fits into a long tradition of Volkswagen brand sports cars. With four real seats, front wheel drive and a gently aggressive line, this compact, low vehicle boasts 19" wheels, two spoilers, an aggressive front, and an increased waistline that adds to the overall sporty appearance. Three air intakes are featured in the bumper/spoiler zone, incorporating the VW badge in the centre. The windscreen and roof are made of a single piece of glass which darkens electronically. Fabrizio Giugiaro, deputy chairman and style manager of Italdesign Giugiaro, sums it up saying, "We designed the Tex in actual fact thinking to the Volkswagen sports cars of the years to come. We intentionally kept a family feeling that would immediately identify it as a Wolfsburg product close to production."
