Jaguar F-Type Project 7
The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 is the latest model in Jaguar's acclaimed F-Type sports car range, which made its debut at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. This high-performance vehicle is the result of intensive work by Jaguar Land Rover's Special Operations team, and only up to 250 units will be produced. It pays homage to the legendary three-time Le Mans winning D-type, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. The name of Project 7 also alludes to Jaguar's seven outright Le Mans wins.
The F-Type Project 7 is powered by the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, delivering 575 PS and 680 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph. Additionally, its all-aluminium body weighs only 1585 kg, making it the fastest and most powerful production Jaguar ever built.
To aid performance, the F-Type Project 7 features a removable roof, 196-litre stowage space, an eight-speed Quickshift transmission, a second generation Electronic Active Differential (EAD), as well as Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brakes and Torque Vectoring by Braking (TVbB). Plus, its distinctive roadster body was first presented in concept form in the summer of 2013. All these features combine to provide an engaging driving experience with unparalleled levels of power and control.
