Jaguar XJ75 Platinum Concept
To mark Jaguar's 75th anniversary, the Jaguar design team has carefully crafted the one-of-a-kind Jaguar XJ75 Platinum Concept car which is being showcased at the 2010 Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance Concept Car Lawn. This project accentuates the spectacular interior and exterior elements of the brand new XJ luxury sedan, along with the personalized nature of luxury cars in the modern market.
The XJ75 Platinum Concept, a 2011 Jaguar XJL Supercharged, is equipped with a powerful 470-hp 5.0-litre Supercharged direct-injection V8 engine with 424 lb.-ft of torque and gives off a visually striking contrast of white and black inspired by the precious platinum metal. The exterior is dressed in a Satin Matte Pearlescent White coat and the revised chrome elements come in either a dark chrome or gloss black. Furthermore, this concept car is outfitted with a set of bespoke 22-inch black wheels with a brushed contrast finish.
The inside of the car is fashioned with a Jet Softgrain leather interior, air vents and accents with a glossy pearlescent white hue, as well as veneers and diamond stitch suede inserts in the seats and headliner. Plus, a quartz clock developed in conjunction with the Bremont Watch Company is positioned on the centre console. Additionally, the XJ75 Platinum Concept features a 1,200-watt Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system with 20 speakers driven by 15 channels and leading-edge sound processing technology.
