Jaguar XKR Speed
The Jaguar XKR Coupe gives customers the ability to enhance the car's capability even further with an optional Speed Pack. This upgrade increases the car's top speed from 155mph (250km/h) to an electronically limited 174mph (280km/h), accomplished through recalibrated engine and transmission. To ensure the Jaguar XKR Speed remains stable at high speeds, a revised front aerodynamic splitter and larger rear spoiler provide increased balance and reduce lift. Additionally, the car's Active Differential Control adjusts to reduce steering sensitivity at very high speeds.
Every Jaguar XKR Speed will also include body-coloured side sills and rear diffuser, and chrome accents on the window surrounds, upper and lower mesh grilles, side Power Vents, and boot lid finisher. Red brake callipers with a Jaguar 'R' logo are fitted on the 20-inch Kasuga alloy wheels.
A paint palette from the Jaguar Designers' Choice programme has been specifically chosen for the Speed Pack models. Seven colours are available - Ultimate Black, Polaris White, Salsa Red, Liquid Silver, Lunar Grey, Kyanite Blue, and Spectrum Blue.
Customers who are looking to make a statement with their Jaguar XKR Speed can opt for the Black Pack. This pack gives the car menacing gloss black wheels and exterior detailing, available in only three paint colours - Ultimate Black, Polaris White, and Salsa Red - and the option for a 'XKR' side body graphic. 20-inch Kalimnos gloss black alloy wheels and gloss black window surrounds and grilles contrast with red painted brake callipers. For interiors, all XKRs with the Black Pack are fitted with Charcoal leather hides with colour stitching and grain, along with three interior finishes and veneers - Dark Oak, Dark Mesh Aluminium, and Piano Black.
