Jaguar XKR-S
The Jaguar XKR-S is the most powerful XK model to date. With the acclaimed 4.2-litre V8 supercharged engine, it was designed to appeal to the true Jaguar enthusiast, providing a more dynamic experience with the retained refinement and craftsmanship unique to Jaguar. It boasts the same advanced lightweight aluminium body as the XKR, but distinguishes itself through enhanced aerodynamics, an increased top speed and unique suspension.
The 4.2-litre all aluminium four-cam supercharged V8 engine produces 420bhp (SAE) and 560Nm of torque. Paired with the XKR's six-speed sequential automatic transmission, the XKR-S has the option of ultra-fast manual shifting via steering wheel-mounted paddle shifts, with shift times measured in milliseconds. Its electronic speed limit is set at 174mph (280kph), an upgrade of 19mph (30kph) on the XKR.
