Jeep CJ-3B 1953 posters

Jeep CJ-3B

The CJ Model was updated in 1953 and the result was the CJ-3B, featuring a taller front grille with a hood that encompassed a new Hurricane F-Head four-cylinder engine. Production of the CJ-3B stayed consistent until 1968, with a total of 155,494 units being manufactured in the U.S alone. In 1953, Willys-Overland was sold to Henry J. Kaiser for a whopping $60 million. This inspired Kaiser to take up an extensive research and development program that would bring forth some fresh models of Jeep vehicles.
