Mr Yong-Hwan Kim, Senior Executive Vice President and COO of Kia Motors Corporation, stated that "The KND-4 is an exciting concept which reveals Kia's dedication to design and technology, as well as hinting at the stylish, advanced features that will be implemented in our upcoming products, ensuring continuous success in our competitive 4x4 models.” The exterior of KND-4, ideal for those desiring an energetic lifestyle, merges urban and rural aesthetics for an all-around trendy SUV. The front boasts LED headlights among a sleek, rounded face and the rear features an expansive screen which emphasizes interior space and is balanced by complex LED light clusters. An elevated ground clearance and short overhangs give the car impressive off-roading capabilities. The vehicle’s cabin seats four, featuring a “future-oriented” design with a metallic finish adorning the floor, dashboard, and door trim panels, illuminated by hidden lighting. KND-4 is fitted with state-of-the-art technology such as a next-gen AMOLED display, Bluetooth, Blu-ray tech, and a built-in hard drive for the audio system. It is powered by a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine via Kia’s Active Torque Transfer system.
