Kia Kee Concept

Kia Motors Corporation made a statement at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in Germany with the world premiere of its all-new Kia Kee sports coupe concept. This two-door, four-seater coupe showcases an attractive, streamlined design with a slightly elongated greenhouse. Its low profile combined with its broad stance alludes to an imposing presence on the roads that speaks of the brand's timeless and uncluttered execution. Chief Design Officer of Kia, Peter Schreyer, names the concept ‘Kee’ for various reasons. He credits the possibility of success for the brand which is symbolized by the English word ‘key’. He then pays homage to the Chinese and Korean word “Ki” which stands for life-force or spiritual energy. As for its exterior features, the Kia Kee strikes with its strong and powerful frontal design and its captivating headlamps and LED cluster. Its dynamic profile further amplifies the design with a striking greenhouse treatment and 20-inch diameter alloy wheels. This 4.3-metre long car is equipped with a ‘next-generation’ Mue-II 2-litre, V-6 gasoline engine that provides 200 ps while it is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
