Kia Soulster Concept 2009 posters

Kia Soulster Concept

Kia Motors America (KMA) is introducing the Kia Soulster concept at the 2009 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The Soulster, based on the Kia Soul which made its debut at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show, is an affordable and efficient front-drive car for young drivers looking to hit the road in style. Tom Kearns, chief designer at KMA, had this to say about the Soulster: "Kia Soulster delivers something new, intriguing and relevant to today's buyers - a fun, affordable convertible for active people who like to share good times with friends." Stylin' Soul'r Yellow Design The two-door Soulster has all the makings of a modern roadster, from the bright Soul'r Yellow paint job to the shortened windshield for a sportier feel. It also features an innovative two-piece top, allowing passengers to open the front and back seating areas individually with elbow-grease technology. And the roll bar doubles as a slider track. To complete its tough but refined character, the Kia Soulster sports an anodized skid-pad insert that incorporates the fender vents, roll bar header, and wheels.
