The Spectra model lineup is available as both a sedan (EX and SX trim levels) or as the Spectra5 five-door and comes equipped with a variety of standard features as well as class-leading safety features. The SX trim provides a sportier image with a four-wheel independent suspension, 16-inch wheels and tires for improved steering and handling, a strut tower bar (M/T only) for a stiffer chassis, cruise control, a rear spoiler, fog lights, and interior elements such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob with perforated leather, sport fabric on the seats and door panels, and metal-finish trim. A new four-speed automatic transmission is available for both the sedan and the Spectra5 for 2006.
