Kia ex cee-d Cabrio Concept

At the 77th Salon de l'Automobiles in Geneva, Switzerland, on 6 March, Kia will debut its all-new ex_cee'd cabrio concept car. This vehicle was crafted under the direction of Peter Schreyer, Kia's Chief Design Officer who hints at the future direction Kia vehicles could take during his leadership. The concept is based on the three-door cee'd hatchback and features newly designed exterior panels and a powered folding fabric roof, making it a classic cabrio with a traditional soft-top roof. Its wedge shape profile, muscular wings, 19-inch alloy wheels, and dynamic front styling give this cabrio a look that stands out from the crowd. It is finished with 'meringue white' exterior paint and 'bitter chocolate' fabric roof, as well as two-tone leather in the interior. Mr Yong-Hwan Kim, Senior Executive Vice President and COO of Kia Motors has voiced his enthusiasm for the ex_cee'd, stating that it is “a fresh aesthetic high-point” that “demonstrates … [Kia is] a young, style-conscious [company]” and brings the company “a step closer to becoming a European company with Korean roots.”
