Lamborghini Aventador Miura Homage
Automobili Lamborghini has released a special edition of the Aventador coupe, the Aventador Miura Homage, to honor the Miura - the pioneering V12 Lamborghini super sports car - in its 50th anniversary year. Only 50 units of the Aventador Miura Homage will be built, of which the majority have already been sold, and are available in select markets across the world.
Conceived by Lamborghini's Ad Personam studio, the Aventador Miura Homage pays homage to the original Miura models by featuring colors and specs of Miuras from the past. For example, the upper body is painted in one color with the lower body and side being of a contrasting hue, resembling the Miura's wide variety of solid and metallic colorways offered, such as Rosso Arancio Miura, Verde Scandal, and Blu Tahiti. In addition, the vehicle can be equipped with 20"/21" Dione rims, either in matt silver or gold, with a metallic Miura badge attached to the side and a black Lamborghini logo on the rear.
The interior of the Aventador Miura Homage can be customized with either full Nero Ade leather with tone-on-tone stitching and carbon fiber or Terra Emilia leather with the iconic Miura 50th logo embroidered on the upper part of the seats, either in gold or silver. The Lamborghini lettering is also embroidered on the leather dashboard.
What's more, the vehicle boasts a V12, 6.5 l engine that generates 700 hp at 8,250 rpm and 690 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds and achieves a top speed of 350 Km/h (217 mph).
The Aventador Miura Homage is set to be unveiled at events during 2016 to mark the Miura's 50th anniversary, with the first appearance being at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
