Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary

In September 1988, the Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary made its debut at the Paris Motor Show. This updated version of the classic Countach was made to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Automobili Lamborghini company. The 25th Anniversary edition received numerous exterior updates to freshen up the look of the car. These modifications, such as rounded body shapes, longer and rounder air intakes to contain hot air, and wheel arch extensions and plates beneath the doors, were designed by the young Horacio Pagani, who was part of the Lamborghini Technical Office at the time. Further modifications included an improved cooling system for the 5.2-litre V12 engine and a different chassis adjustment to better fit Pirelli P Zero tires. The cabin was also redesigned to be more comfortable, with electric windows, electrically adjustable seats that had less bolstering, and a more luxurious feel overall. The Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary was produced between 1988 and 1989. It had a power output of 455 HP and a top speed of 295 km/h. 658 cars were manufactured, making this edition of the Countach the most produced out of all Countach models. The last car of the series, with Europe specifications and a silver metallic exterior and gray leather interior, remains on display at the MUDETEC.
