Lamborghini Murcielago 2002 posters

Lamborghini Murcielago Sketch

The Lamborghini Murciélago is a high-performance grand tourer motor vehicle manufactured by Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. Developed by Luc Donckerwolke, it replaced the Lamborghini Diablo in the year 2002. Its body style is a two-door, two-seat coupé. Aside from the coupe, there is also an open-top version, popularly known as the Murciélago roadster, which was released in 2004 for the 2005 model year. The roadster features similar performance to the coupe but has an edgier rear flank as well as a substantially higher price. Powering the Murciélago is a 6.2 L Lamborghini V12 engine mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed e-gear sequential gearbox, with all-wheel drive. It has a rear spoiler adjusted to an angle of 70°, side mirrors contributing to aerodynamics that fold in, as well as side scoops that automatically opens to the right size to ensure optimal air intake for the engine. The origin of the car's name is far more meaningful, in which the flagship was christened after a legendary bull from the 19th century. Said bull fought with such vigor during a bull fight that the matador chose to rescue its life, a rare commendation. Later, the bull was gifted to Antonio Miura, a noted breeder, eventually siring a renowned line of fighting bulls. The Lamborghini Murciélago coupe has a base price of US$273,000, which is US$90,000 more expensive than its sibling – the Lamborghini Gallardo.
