The Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Roadster has been given the same modifications to its bodywork and mechanics as its Coupé counterpart, with an individualised character of its own. The Lamborghini Centro Stile designers have incorporated sportiness, functionalism and purism into a more aggressive design. Its revised front and rear bumpers, rear diffuser with integrated tailpipe, and new rear lights ensure that it is identifiable both day and night. The asymmetrical design on the car’s sides is particularly striking; the area behind the air inlet on the right is almost completely closed whilst the left features a large opening for the oil cooler. The power-adjustable rear-view mirror, revised windscreen wipers, and available Hermera alloy wheels contribute to the LT640 Roadster's improved aerodynamic design.
The interior has been tailored to the driver, with elements such as the perforated leather on the chair cushions, dashboard tunnel console and driver side door lining, creating a driver focussed experience.
