Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster
Automobili Lamborghini unveiled the new and exclusive Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster at the Monterey Car Week in California. President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann, presented the car at the prestigious 'The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering' event. Limited to 500 select units, the Roadster is the first open-top Lamborghini to bear the Superveloce name.
“The Superveloce is the purest, most sports-oriented and fastest series production Lamborghini ever. The Roadster version embodies our commitment to treat our passionate clients with an incomparable driving experience and unmatched emotion in the open air,” said Winkelmann.
With a 50 hp power boost to 750 hp and a lighter dry weight of 1,575 kg (3,472 lb), the Roadster offers greater performance for a remarkable power-to-weight ratio of 2,1 kg/hp (4,6 lb/hp). It achieves spectacular acceleration from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and delivers a top speed greater than 350 km/h (> 217 mph).
The Roadster features Lamborghini's highly innovative 7-speed ISR transmission and the advanced Haldex Generation IV 4WD system. It also includes Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) and adaptive Magneto Rheological Suspension for improved driving dynamics.
Completing an exquisite design, the Superveloce Roadster comes with a two-piece hardtop made from carbon fiber. Created with cutting-edge technologies like RTM and Forged Composite®, the roof parts are incredibly lightweight yet offer superior strength and perfect surface finish.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV Roadster is available from early 2016, starting at a base price of 357,000.00 Euros (excl. VAT) or USD 530,075.00 MSRP.
