Automobili Lamborghini has seen fit to bring a legendary name back to life with the unveiling of the Lamborghini Miura Concept. This is the first vehicle designed by Walter de' Silva, the esteemed Head of Lamborghini Design and Head of Design of the Audi Group. His vision was to create a car that pays homage to the classic Lamborghini Miura with a modern, retro-inspired look.
Forty years since its 1966 unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show by Ferruccio Lamborghini and Nuccio Bertone, the Miura still carries a timeless beauty unparalleled by any other car. De' Silva's interpretation of this classic stays faithful to the original design, but with refinements to the contours and an emphasis on clean, simple lines. The modern touches to the interior, lights, and wheels showcase de' Silva's mastery of craftsmanship.
This is just a concept car, so as of now there is no release date. Stephan Winkelmann, the Lamborghini CEO, has expressed his great enthusiasm and support of the project.
