Lamborghini Murcielago 40th Anniversary Edition
To commemorate Lamborghini's 40th Anniversary, the iconic Italian auto maker is releasing a special edition of its renowned supercar, the Murciélago.
Produced in a limited run of 50 cars, the 40th Anniversary Edition will be sold primarily in Europe, the United States and Japan. A distinguishing feature of the vehicle is its Verde Artemis (jade green) colour, with a three layer pearl effect paint. Further external modifications include optic carbon fibre coating on the upper door moulds and around the rear window, grey anthracite coloured wheel rims, a newly designed exhaust system, silver grey callipers and a newly designed centre wheel logo. It also bears the 40th Anniversary logo on its lateral side.
The interior of the anniversary model has been designed with an asymmetrical scheme, with Grigio Syrius (dark grey) perforated leather on the driver's side and smooth black leather on the passenger's side. It also comes with special floor mats and an Alpine radio with CD player. Depending on the market, some models may also have a satellite navigation system.
The 40th Anniversary Murciélago is 15,000 euros more than its standard version, with a price tag of EURO 193,000 (w/o taxes). As part of the package, customers will receive a special personalised certificate and an exclusive signed carbon fibre suitcase in the luggage compartment.
