Lamborghini Murcielago Sketch

The Lamborghini Murciélago is the latest GT and supercar sported by Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. and designed by the brilliant Luc Donckerwolke. This two door, two seat coupé was released in 2002 and serves as the successor to the Diablo. In 2004, the open-top version, the Murciélago roadster, emerged onto the scene for the following year. It offers similar power as the coupe but boasts an even more aggressive rear flank and of course, a higher price. It packs a 6.2 L edition of the Lamborghini V12 engine, a six speed manual or e-gear sequential gearbox and All Wheel Drive. Its exterior features include a rear spoiler that can tilt up to 70 degrees, side mirrors that can be folded in for aerodynamic reasons and side scoops that can expand and contract based on the cooling needs of the engine. The name Murciélago pays homage to a bull that survived 24 sword strikes in battle and was presented to Don Antonio Miura, a noted breeder. Furthermore, the Italian-made supercar was featured in the 2005 movie Batman Begins. The base price of the coupe is US$273,000, US$90,000 more than the Gallardo.
