Lancia Flavia 1.5

The Lancia Flavia was developed by Professor Fessia in the late 1950s and released in 1961. It featured a 1.5 L aluminium boxer engine, and customers had the choice of a four door saloon, two door coupé, two door convertible (built by Vignale) and a two door sport version, designed by Zagato. This sport model was equipped with twin carburetors, producing approximately 100 hp, but the engine had a reputation for being difficult to keep in tune. Lancia also produced a 1.8 L and 2.0 L version of the engine, with options for carburetor or mechanical injection, and 4 or 5 speed manual gearbox. When Fiat acquired Lancia, production of the Vignale and Zagato variants stopped; instead the coupé and saloon models were redesigned. In 1971 or 1972, the model's name changed to the Lancia 2000; featuring Girling disk brakes, stainless steel bumpers and Bosch D-jetronic Analog-electrovalve fuel injection (for the injected models). These new cars were built until 1973 or 1974, although there were remaining stock models available until 1975. The coupé and saloon were the only bodies produced. Despite its modest performance specifications, the Flavia was noted for its build and ride quality, as well as durability. Maintenance doesn't have to be difficult, but parts can be scarce and expensive. Engines:
