Lancia Phedra Promenade

The first-generation eurovans had been replaced with a new model in 2002. The floorpan and suspension setup were retained, but all the exterior dimensions including the front and rear tracks, were increased along with a remarkable increment in length to add to the interior capacity. The new eurovans had a modernized look with a stylishly designed dashboard and centrally mounted gauges. Changes on the outside included the extensive modifications done on the entire front fascia and the rear sections including headlamps and taillights. The Fiat and Lancia models appear to be wider than the PSA vans, and the Phedra is also further elongated than the other eurovans. Names Apart from the Fiat Ulysse, the other models underwent name alteration. The 806 was, as expected, replaced by 807, whereas the Citroën minivan conformed to its new nomenclature theme where the models were referred to with a Cx prefix, thus becoming the Citroën C8. The Lancia minivan was refer to as the Lancia Phedra, drew its inspiration from Greek mythology and the figure of Phaedra. Engines The engine range included varied versions of the PSA EW and DW engines that were mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The high-end variants also included the PSA ES V6. All the diesels were of the PSA HDI type which were sold under the name JTD by Fiat.
