Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport
In January 2010, the Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport will hit the showrooms with two variations and two color options - Santorini Black and Lago Grey. Both have 19" limited edition diamond-turned alloy-wheels and a unique two-tone interior with rear spoiler, color-matched exterior trim and door handles, and mirror casings.
The standard version of the Sport is available in both Black and Grey with cloth interiors and the sports styling pack edition in Lago Grey exclusively gives you a leather interior. Its cabin’s sporty feeling is highlighted by an Ebony-colored center-console and lower fascia with two-tone door casings and Storm-colored stitched seats. The Sport emblem is also embossed on the front and rear seat headrests, and a unique Ebony interior carpet with contrast piping is laid out throughout.
The power behind the Land Rover Freelander 2 Sport is a 2.2-litre TD4 diesel engine with Stop/Start technology that significantly improves fuel efficiency and reduces CO2 emissions. The manual diesel has 8% improvement on CO2 emissions compared to the old manual diesel Land Rover Freelander 2 (from 194g/km to 179g/km) and fuel consumption is improved (from 37.7 to 42.2mpg - a gain of 4.5mpg).
