Lexus ES330
The Lexus ES series is a family of mid-size sedans produced by the Lexus division of Toyota since 1989. Based off of the Toyota Camry platform, the ES is available with a V6 engine and automatic transmission. Through 2001, the ES was Lexus's entry-level model, pitted against the Infiniti G20, I30 and Acura TL. It later assumed a more luxurious stance in the lineup.
Fourth generation (2002-2006)
The fourth generation ES (designated MCV30) debuted in 2002, featuring a more upscale feel, quieter cabin, larger and softer seats, and improved interior materials. The 2003 model year saw the U.S. and Europe get a more powerful 3.3 L engine producing 225 hp, and a renaming to the ES 330. Enhanced features for the ES after 2005 included power adjustable pedals, heated and ventilated front seats, rearview mirrors that tilt in reverse, bird's-eye maple trim, and the option of integrated satellite radio.
