These cars boasted a refreshed look, featuring a bolder design, the new GS 200t rear-wheel drive variant and new luxury finishes. Both agile and sporty for taking on turns while gliding along California Highway 1 and providing a comfortable ride for extended highway use, the mid-size Lexus GS truly makes its mark.
The GS' exterior was enhanced with a signature spindle grille for 2016, with the accompanying touches of elegant satin chrome trim and distinctive Bi-LED headlights. The look was further emphasized with a new front bumper, rocker panel design, revised tail lights, and 18- and 19-inch machine-finish wheel designs. The mix of color choices, from Matador Red Mica and Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 to Nightfall Mica, let drivers add their own personal touches.
The GS' interior was also given an upgrade, with laser cut wood, Matte Walnut, Linear 3D, Naguri aluminum, and Rioja Red among the trim and leather selections for the F SPORT, creating a modern touch to the classic vehicle. Its dash was complemented by an analog clock with LED indicators and GPS functionality for time zone adjustability.
